Abandoned Grade School
Explore.
Remember grade school? This property will remind you. Left to sit for years, vandals and graffiti artists have clearly taken a liking to the place. We are taught that if you do well in school you have a bright future in front of you, but what about the school itself?
We walked through amazed at the decay of the building. Paint chipping off walls, windows broken, the usual stuff but for some reason in a school it had a felt different. The gymnasium cluttered with objects apparently being used for storage. and the cafeteria kitchen, I couldnt help but wonder how many of those little boxed milks were given out from this room.
History.
Not much is known about this property. I tried to research the place and came up with nothing but some old court preceding’s and closure articles.
- Served 81 students, Grade 1-5
- The student: teacher ratio of 14:1 was higher than the Wisconsin state level of 13:1.

Around Back
This would have been the view of students on their recess break. Without the broken windows of course.
The Gym
Used for what seems to be storage now, the gymnasium had unique block windows. Lunch would have been served here as the kitchen was attached.
The Hallway
Being in this hallway made me think of the bell ringing, lockers lining the walls, grabbing your backpack and going to class. Now, paint replaced the lockers and the only sound is the birds chirping outside.
